The Heart of Mary House is a Catholic hospice for the terminally ill in Nashville, funded completely by donations and volunteers. It provides a safe, comfortable, and peaceful home-like setting for underserved people who have been given a terminal prognosis and need somewhere to stay and someone to care for them in the final chapter of their lives.
Volunteering here a couple of days a week has been a huge blessing in my life and puts everything else in its proper place.
